TIME. Do you have some?

 ~

We refer to it often but do we understand it?

There is just no time for it.

I don't have time right now.

Just a minute, hold on a minute.

My life is not my own.

I have no control over that.

Time stands still for nothing and no one.

Time flies when you're having fun.

Time passes when you're working too hard.

Time out!

You are wasting time.

You are wasting ..my..  time.

Time for food.  Time for sleep. Time for a shower.  Time for.......

There is no time like the present.

Time in a Bottle.......(remember Jim Croche?  1970's)  A #1 hit just before he died in a plane crash.

His time ran out.

This time it will be different.

Doing Time.

Time to go.  Time to talk.  Time to shut up and listen.

Time me.

How much time do you need?

Take time to smell the roses  or  in some cases the manure......

My time is precious.

Time to love.  Time to cry.  Time to laugh.  Time to die.

My watch lost time.

Time stopped.

The day that Time stood still.

It's time to get going.

It's time we made some changes.

Timing is everything.

He can't keep time.

Remember the time.....?

I'll do better next time.

Give me some more time, please...

My time is up.

A moment in time.

Look at the time!

Time to get up..... Dong, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong (for my dad)

Timeless.....

Let's kill some time. (Is that murder?)

Time is a wastin'

Time is on my side.

It's the right time.

A 57 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.   While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?"
God said, "No, you have another 38 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth!
Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years?
Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
God replied: "I didn't recognize you."

Time for me to say goodbye.

An Evening on Temple Hill

The temple grounds of any LDS temple is so full of color, beauty, and a strong sense of the spirit, that it is unlike any other place on earth (in my opinion). The one place that might come in second is in the tops of the mountains during the spring and summer. Strength, solitude, and awareness are the fruits of a visit to either place.  My husband and I spent an evening at the Oakland Temple grounds and I had my camera. It was in the early evening. The bay was too shrouded in smog and fog to even see the buildings of the city or any bridges so my camera sought everything else within focus.  I clicked as we walked up onto the terrace of the temple and down again.

It was 106 in Modesto that day.  On Temple Hill it was a balmy 68-70.  Even the raven knew where to find solitude.  The color never stopped all through our walk.  Only God can create beauty this way.  I'm thankful he gave me a camera and two hands to preserve it.
